sound good. I will give it a try.
It looks clean and well-designed, but I’m curious—how does it differentiate itself from tools like Notion? Would love to understand where it fits in the landscape!
Hi, I'm one of the builders of Flat. Anthony answered this well by providing the blog post, but here are the highlights: - Notion is a very DIY experience because it's fundamentally based on docs. Flat is natively a workflow management tool, so it's ready out of the box with no complicated templates or setting up "databases" like you have to in Notion. Interestingly, we have several teams using Flat *alongside* Notion because they hate Notion's project management experience so much. - Flat is really designed to support collaboration/discussion in the context of a topic, taking a lot of the load off of Slack, where it's easy for things to get lost and fall through the cracks. Flat threads are just as easy (even easier) than Slack, but they're assignable, and have an open/resolved status, so it's almost impossible for balls to get dropped. - There are lots of smaller differences (e.g. Blockers) but those are the main ones.
Not the OP, but I was wondering the same. They made a blog post that compare with Notion https://flat.app/blog/flat-and-notion-how-do-they-stack-up
